Dr. Madsen is licensed in Pennsylvania as a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience working with a diverse range of mental health conditions and populations. She specialized in neuropsychology and behavioral medicine while completing her doctorate at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Dr. Madsen completed her residency at the Neuropsychology and Behavioral Medicine Department of Lancaster General Hospital. Her doctoral dissertation focused on postpartum depression, and she gained post-doctoral experience in concussion management at UPMC's Sports Medicine Department.
In 2012, Dr. Madsen opened her private practice, specializing in diagnostic testing and evaluation while carrying a caseload of therapy clients. She is currently offering concierge medicine. Dr. Madsen is best described as warm, structured, goal-oriented, and genuine. She strives to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans to help clients achieve clinical goals.
Originally from Illinois, Dr. Madsen moved frequently due to her family's government background, living on military bases overseas and along the west coast of the United States. She eventually settled in Pennsylvania to attend college and currently lives with her husband and two daughters.
